Everything is good in Chicago, now.

Cubs win, Hawks win, Bulls win, Sox LOSE! HAH

Things truly are fantastic in Chicago right now, all the respectable wins are winning and the fans really have something to cheer for now.

As a young Chicagoan I haven't really been able to experience something like this before and I plan on enjoying it while it lasts. So in honor of this event I decided to make some predictions.

1) Cubs win world series.

2)Sox lose so bad they are no longer a team.

3)Bulls lose this year but Derrick Rose becomes a huge stud and they win a few more championships. The one year Rose doesn't win MVP, Noah gets it.

4) DA BEARS never lose another game again, except to Rex Grossman-led Detroit who they never beat while Grossman is QB. Grossman throws for multiple 500+ yard 5+ TD games against Chicago. Detroit though only wins one superbowl with Grossman but he goes down as the best comeback story of all time.

SUSAN BOYLE! WHOAAA

Simon Cowell is not an easy man to impress...

But Susan Boyle did not care one bit.

Susan Boyle is a 47 year old lady from some town in Britain and after her mother's death she decided to try her hand at singing one last time.

She walked onto the stage and was immediately hit by waves of negativity from the crowd and the judges but again she did not care one bit.

Then she started singing and the crowd instantly turned to her side and gave her multiple standing ovations.

I don't want to sound like a liar, but usually I'm pretty optimistic about that kind of stuff and I had a feeling that her confidence would prove to be well placed.

Either way, here is her performance on youtube, enjoy.

Wake up and smell Rose, Derrick Rose!

Derrick Rose , 36 pts, Bulls win.

The defending champions, the Boston Celtics, just lost to a Bulls team that is led by a rookie, has a player that shoots free throws with two hands, and quite possibly the least athletic center around (Brad Miller).

I don't know whether the Celtics are playing bad or if this young tattooed whippersnapper is destined to carry the Bulls on his shoulders for the rest of his career.

Sure Ben Gordon also played well but that guy is a jerk who wont bring up the rest of the team while Rose is a true leader on the court.

I don't really think there's much else to say here since I had so much prepared to write about why the Bulls lost and how they need to improve but I think I will just take it easy and enjoy the series.

The Cutler Deal

The Chicago Bears finally helped themselves out by really utilizing their first round picks. They did this by trading them away in exchange for Jay Cutler, future superstar!

This is great for the Bears because one of two things will happen now. Either Cutler will develop into a legendary quarterback that will lead the Bears to many Superbowls. OR They will train him and fail, resulting in another Rex Grossman situation where a great arm is ruined by poor coaching.

Cutler's failure could even be looked at as a success though because the Bears will never have to play against the guy in the future and they are used to less than stellar quarterback play.

Either way, its good to see the Bears finally trying to improve. Unfortunately though there is a chance that Grossman may play again somewhere and get revenge on the Bears. But we will cross that bridge when we get to it.
