Blargas decided that it was finally time to head out to the newly discovered icy continent of Northrend.
Of course, on does not simply walk into Northrend, so he had to make his way to the city of Orgrimmar. From there he took a zeppelin ride and landed in the main Horde Settlement in the area, Warsong Hold.
Once Blargas showed up, he was quite honestly surprised that the area wasn't covered in snow, in fact he could have sworn he saw a fair amount of grassland in the area.
Now, Blargas, ever curious about the origin of the name Borean Tundra (the name of the zone that Warsong Hold was in) checked on the local Warsong Hold computer the meaning of Borean Tundra.
Now Tundra is an area of land with very little vegitation and know for extreme cold as well as permafrost. Borean is (according to wikipedia) a grouping of Eurasian and North African languages.
So, after long hours of meditation within the Horde stronghold, Blargas decided that this must refur to Eurasian and North African tundras and thus the area should share simularities with its real life counterpart.
Of course this isn't the case due to the uncharicteristic hot springs, abundance of wildlife and the volcanic subregion located in the northwest. Of course this can be attributed to the magma elemental that decided to take up residence in that particular area.
Despite the differences, Blargas did notice that the shrubbery of the region is very similar to real life examples. The animals, despite overpopulated (perhaps due to a high respawn rate) do show signs of adaption to the elements. Also, just like real life tundra this region is at risk of oil drilling and too many humans* in the area.
Armed with this knowlege, Blargas leaves Warsong Hold with hope and wonder.
Of course he is then killed multiple times by the spiders he was tasked to exterminate.
Now on his lucky 5th attempt, Blargas sets forth with grim determination. Will he fail or suceed? Who knows, but we are eager to find out!
